Good evening everyone in South Africa, and good day all my other readers. I have to apologize for the fact that i have not updated the blog in a while.
But here is a short one.
Today I had a traditional German Sunday lunch. It was so unique and different and absolutely delicious. So, I would like for all of you to go out and try something new this week. Even if it is only something small.Be adventurous, after all that is what food is about.
I hope you all have a great week, and remember, enjoy great good food

Tong Lok
Hey everyone, here is another great place to eat. In Alberton there is a small Chinese take out called Tong Lok. And they're absolutely amazing! Their food is cheap and you get a huge plate full.
My favourite is their chicken chow mein, but also their sweet and sour pork.
So instead of having to choose one of the 2, they have a special where you get both for R35, how cheap is that?
The shop is located at Cnr Ring Road West & Clinton Road, New Redruth, Alberton.
Get there today

Wimpy East Rand Mall
Today's blog is about a restaurant that is enjoyed by thousands, Wimpy. Wimpy, popularly known for their good food, fast service and family atmosphere.
I went to Wimpy today with a company of 4. The line at the door was extremely long, but it took but 9 min for them to seat us.
Our menus were given immediately as we sat down, and we ordered immediately.
Our drinks arrived 9 min after ordering and our food 16 min.
Today I opted for horlics, and a double mushroom burger.
As we were waiting for our food to arrive, the line at the door kept on growing, one can clearly see that a lot of people feel that Wimpy is one of the best places to eat.
The food was absolutely delicious, and off course all the plates were empty when we were done.
Wimpy's service is amazing. They always greet you with a smile, and they live up to the fact that they are a fast food restaurant.
In todays life where everything is so expensive, people want a place where they can go eat good food and get value for their money.
I think Wimpy is one of these places

Elsburg Fish and Chips
I would like to start this blog with a great fast food outlet. It is a fish and chips cafe situated in Elsburg, and it is a favourite among many people who live in Germiston.
You can expect a quee that stretches to the door during lunctime, but the wait is worth while.
The food is inexpense and you get value for your money
The price for chips ranges from R10 and up, their are also many extras that you can enjoy with the chips, it ranges from foot long russians to sputnik's. There are also interisting condiments to choose from, which include condiments such as chilli vinegar.
The chips are perfectly done and reminds me of chips from yesteryear, esspecialy if wrapped in paper.

Introduction
Welcome to my blog.
I am a fully qualified chef and has decided to use my knowledge in a progressive and informative way. I have decided to comment on the preperation, presentation and taste experience of food at normal restaurants and fast food outlets. I don't view myself as a critic as I won't only be criticizing but also complementing where it is due.
I hope that this blog will be informative to the normal person in the street that make use of everyday establishments such as restaurants and take aways.
